HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO REPAIR MY ITEM?

Generally we will complete most standard mends in 2-3 weeks, but the time for some pieces will depend on the size and complexity.

We will aim to work to your deadline, so please let us know if there is a specific date you need your item for.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ITEM?

If you order your standard mend through the website you will be charged and pay online.

If we have arranged a bespoke mend or alteration after your garments are complete you will be send an invoice to pay online before collection.

WHAT MATERIALS AND FABRICS DO YOU USE?

Our ethos is to save fabrics from going to landfill so the material we use for patching and makes is a mixture of deadstock, pre-loved and donated fabric.

We are happy to discuss using any fabric you have, no matter how fragile. If the fabric tells your story then we will endeavour to find a way to use it. We can also use small pieces and incorporate them in amongst other recycled fabric if necessary.

If you have a particular fabric in mind for a patch or make we will probably ask you to purchase that and bring it along with your garment, but we can talk you through the best options for your piece.

HOW CAN I GET MY MEND TO YOU?

If you are local to us in Bucks we have a variety of drop off and collection points. You can drop off & collect directly to one of our houses in Chesham  at any time (address supplied at order). Or you can use one of our lovely local shops:

If you are further afield you can post your item to us and we will return using the standard post.
